Getting to know Dalad Srisuppak

I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University. My passion is to support my clients on their journey to discover their strengths and overcome challenges from their experiences or current stressors with care and understanding. My approach is client-centered, grounded in a Humanistic perspective and trauma-informed care. I believe in my clients’ ability and power to overcome difficulties through empathy, caring, and unconditional positive regard. I foster healing by collaborating with clients’ support systems when appropriate. I am also EMDR certified. I have experience working with children as young as 5 years old through adults over 80. I am passionate about supporting clients who experience anxiety, depression, grief and loss, behavior problems, low self-esteem, mood disorders, relationship issues, and trauma. My communication style centers on unconditional positive regard and humility. I actively listen to clients sharing their experiences without judgment and with empathy to better understand their perspective. I strive to create a calm and comfortable space tailored to each client’s needs, so they know their experience matters and that I am here for them. My journey as a therapist began in my teens after watching the movie Good Will Hunting. Since then, I have been dedicated to helping others recognize and build on their strengths. As a trauma-informed therapist, I understand how traumatic experiences can profoundly impact clients’ lives and even span generations. Seeing clients smile and embrace their values reminds me that everyone matters, and I want to be that light for my clients when they face or are in the dark. My goals for you are always client-centered and focused on your needs. I collaborate with you to develop strengths-based, SMART goals that support your growth and healing.
