I support clients who have experienced domestic violence and emotional, physical, or sexual trauma as children, youth, or adults. I also assist those struggling with low self-esteem, guilt, shame, anger, and resentment. My practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and incorporates Family Systems, Gestalt Therapy, and Short-Term Psychodynamic Therapy. My communication style My communication style is relaxed, open, and transparent. I believe that with desire, hard work, discipline, and practice, every client can achieve and maintain personal growth, improved relationships, a sense of peace and well-being, and profound joy in life. Each counseling session is designed to build upon these goals. My journey to mental healthcare Helping others has been a way of life for me and a wonderful opportunity. I have been an LCSW for over 20 years and hold a Master’s in Social Work from Valdosta State University.
