Hello, my name is Damara Beckett, LPC, CSAC. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Liberty University. As a clinician, I meet clients where they are and walk alongside them as they become better versions of themselves. I specialize in substance use and general mental health treatment for individuals ages 13 to 99. The most common theoretical approach I use is cognitive behavioral therapy. I work with clients to explore how their thinking can influence feelings and behaviors, creating more favorable outcomes. I have extensive experience treating individuals with substance use disorders and general mental health conditions. In sessions, clients can expect to be heard, encouraged, educated, and challenged to meet the goals they establish for themselves. Goal setting is a collaborative process between the client and clinician.
