“In the few sessions I've had so far with Dana she has challenged me in different ways with different types of solutions that I would not have found in my own to work on myself. She is so easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable to open up in a judgment free space which is exactly what I needed to start healing.”

Getting to know Dana Barrile

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Fitchburg State University. With a background in the sciences, specifically medical research, I changed careers five years ago to help people on a more personal level. I use my knowledge of physical health to support individuals struggling with chronic illness and/or pain. Additionally, I have experience working with those facing depression, anxiety, panic, social anxiety, and trauma.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is person centered, and solution focused. I strive to help people live their lives in a calm, empowered way, while gaining an understanding of how our thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
