Getting to know Dana Wilkerson

As a licensed professional counselor for over a decade, I consider it an honor to create a sacred space with a client in the therapeutic relationship. As clients are able to unravel developmental traumas, process relational difficulties, and dispel long-held cognitive beliefs, true healing emerges within. Over the years, I have found that I am most helpful in the treatment of trauma, building healthy attachments between people, and using a number of well-researched methods for more complex issues related to emotional development. In my free time, I love to visit the shores of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina with my husband of 31 years and our mini-Australian Shepherd, Brodie . I also enjoy watching our three grown children make their mark on this world!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
