Hi there, I'm Daniel! My name is Daniel Fowler, and I am a Licensed Practicing Counselor ? Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP). I am also a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. I hold a Master?s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University. I work with individuals who are looking to change or who need something different in their lives. This can be due to depression, anxiety, life changes, substance use, marriage conflicts, or much more. I meet each individual where they are and strive to show them that change is possible, even when all else seems to have failed. My approach I use CBT, Trauma-Focused therapy, Mindfulness, DBT, Solution-Focused therapy, Patient-Centered care, Holistic methods, and many more to meet clients where they are. My focus I work with anyone seeking change, especially those who have tried before and given up hope. I support individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, marriage issues, substance use, self-esteem, self-confidence, trauma, ADHD, life challenges, transitions, and much more. My communication style I create a safe space for my clients to work in. When clients work with me, they have the freedom to express themselves and whatever they are going through. They are safe to release emotions they have held inside so we can address them and find healthy ways to cope. The safety of my clients is of utmost importance to me. My journey to mental healthcare I faced my own childhood struggles. It wasn?t until I was 18, when someone took an interest in my life, that I began to make positive changes. Because one person showed me that change is possible, I now take the time to show others that change is possible for them too. My goals for you Goals are set with the client?s input. Typically, goals are set at the end of each session and are designed to be manageable so they don?t feel overwhelming. I?ve found that goals that are too much can discourage clients, so I focus on what feels achievable.
