Hi there, I'm Daniel! I have a passion to help people from all walks of life. My wife is from Pakistan and we lived internationally for over eight years in Fiji. Together we can sort through the issues of life that seem to be weighing you down. I have over 30 years of experience serving as an Ordained Minister, and over 20 years as a Chaplain. My focus I specialize in men's issues, porn addiction, trauma, and spirituality. However, I work with a variety of issues across the spectrum of mental health needs. I use multiple models of therapy that are sometimes integrated, person-centered, and solution-focused. My approach I specialize in men's issues, porn addiction, trauma, and spirituality. However, I work with a variety of issues across the spectrum of mental health needs. I use multiple models of therapy that are sometimes integrated, person-centered, and solution-focused. My communication style My style of interaction is warm, caring, and humorous (when appropriate). Clients working with me often report feeling better after their first session. My journey to mental healthcare I'm a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Before my clinical training, I completed a BSc in Organizational Management, a Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy, and a Doctor of Ministry. Later, I completed a Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have completed all but the dissertation for a PhD in Counseling and Psychological Studies. My goals for you Together we will explore and identify any irrational or unrealistic thoughts that you may have and reframe them. Using psychoeducation, the goal is that you will develop tools and coping to accomplish your mental health goals. When appropriate, you may notice that I will take a more interventional approach to the method of treatment.
