Getting to know Daniel Hauff

If booking with these, you will be unable to be seen. I believe therapy is about much more than just healing from or diving into the past. It is a journey to wellness and living one’s best life. I view clients holistically, developing goals based on their own values and taking an eclectic, person-centered approach that tailors treatment to each individual. I meet clients “where they are at” in a respectful, judgment-free, and safe setting, applying mindfulness as well as cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and existential therapies. I work with sex positivity, open marriages, polyamory, kinks, and sex work with clients of all genders and sexual persuasions. As a BIPOC ally, I have done extensive work with the LGBTQIA+ community, especially affirming transgender and non-binary gender identities. I am experienced with substance use and process addictions, supported by my Master’s in Addiction Counseling from the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Additionally, I honor the human/animal bond and help clients move through the pain of pet grief, recognizing how devastating the loss of a companion animal can be. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and bring this educational foundation to my compassionate, individualized approach to therapy.
