After working with marginalized youth and young adults in a variety of settings, he received his Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University in 2022 and has been providing mental health services in rural Eastern Oregon since then. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys studying history, going to concerts, swimming in cold rivers, and exploring the mountains with his corgi. Daniel’s goal is to hold space for clients to tell their story in order to build awareness and move towards healing. He believes in a collaborative process in which he helps clients access their own power, build skills, and make changes, always remembering they are the experts in their own lives. As a queer identifying clinician, he also enjoys working with LGTBQIA+ clients and hopes to create a therapeutic space free of shame and stigma. He has experience working with trans and non-binary/gender non-conforming clients and can support individuals on their transition journey. Other areas he focuses on are grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, identity, alternative relationships, sexuality, and men’s issues. As a certified social work associated, he practices under supervision of a licensed clinical social worker as a part of Mindful Therapy Group, P.C
