Getting to know Daniel Sharer
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families. Many of my clients have commented that they appreciate my insight and non-judgmental approach when discussing their issues. In my experience, I have observed that many struggle to make changes in their lives because they have received the message that they are not good enough. I am determined to provide a safe environment for all therapeutic participants, ensuring they can embrace themselves and recognize their inherent worth.
I earned my Master's in Counseling and Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy, as well as my Bachelor's degree, from the University of Phoenix. I am also a U.S. Navy Veteran with personal experience of some of the hardships faced when families are separated due to long deployments. Additionally, I have worked with men and women recently released from incarceration and have experience and training in domestic violence and other traumas.
Clients often tell me that my calm demeanor and approachable character help them connect with me, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
What should a new client know about working with you?
During our first session, I will be trying to get to know you and ask questions about the issues that bring you to therapy. My goal is to get information, provide some immediate hope that things can get better or help you accept the situation you are in, embrace it, and establish some therapeutic goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
