You know your patterns. You can explain them, trace them back to their origins, and recognize them when they show up. Yet somehow, despite all that insight, you still find yourself repeating them. If you've ever wondered, "Why can't I change this when I understand it so well?" you're not alone. Many of the people I work with feel caught between self-awareness and self-criticism. If you find yourself stuck in non-stop spiraling thoughts that leave you feeling further disconnected from yourself, know that there is hope. Lasting change is possible, even if it feels so out of reach. I help individuals and couples reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been pushed aside in the process of surviving. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, we will explore the experiences, emotions, and protective patterns that have shaped your life while creating space for new ways of relating to yourself and each other. You deserve a place where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we can work toward releasing shame, deepening self-trust, and building more meaningful connections with yourself and others. Let's connect and begin creating the change you've been working so hard to find.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I help clients untangle overwhelming thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns in a space grounded in compassion and curiosity. Together, we will identify what is keeping you stuck and find ways to build stronger relationships with both yourself and others while staying connected to what matters most to you. Many of the people I work with feel pulled in different directions by competing thoughts, emotions, and expectations. In therapy, we will slow down and explore these experiences with curiosity rather than judgment. As we better understand what is driving these patterns, you can begin to respond from a place that feels more intentional, authentic, and aligned with your values. My clinical training emphasized trauma-informed care, and I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel both supported and appropriately challenged. I work collaboratively with clients to ensure therapy feels emotionally safe while continuing to move toward the goals that matter most to them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

While every client is different, I approach therapy as a collaborative process rather than following a strict agenda. Sessions often begin with what feels most important to you that day while also connecting to themes, insights, and goals from our previous work together. In addition to talking through challenges, I may invite you to slow down and notice what is happening emotionally or physically in the moment. Depending on your needs, we may use mindfulness, visualization, or other experiential exercises to help you connect more deeply with emotions that can feel difficult to access or understand. At times, we may explore how present-day reactions connect to earlier experiences and the ways you learned to cope, adapt, or protect yourself. A central part of my work involves helping clients approach these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we will explore the protective role these thoughts, emotions, or behaviors may have served while creating space for new ways of responding that better fit your current life and values. My goal is to help you develop greater self-compassion, self-trust, and confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges.
