I've always had a deep curiosity about people and the stories, relationships, and experiences that shape who we become. Through my work in healthcare and as a victim advocate, I had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families during moments of crisis, loss, and change. I witnessed not only pain, but also incredible strength and resilience. Over time, I came to understand how powerful it can be to feel truly heard, understood, and supported—not rushed toward a solution, but met with compassion. I wanted to be able to stay with people beyond those first difficult moments and support their healing, hope, and return to joy. That desire is what led me to this work.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session is a gentle starting place where we can get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, and explore what you're hoping for at a pace that feels comfortable. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—we can begin wherever you are. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and not alone as we begin finding a path toward hope, healing, and greater joy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Trauma, grief, relationship issues, life transitions and anxiety, don't follow a neat timeline or a step-by-step formula—and your therapy shouldn't either. Having spent years working as a hospital case manager, as well as serving as a victim advocate, I bring a deep, real-world understanding to the complex physical and emotional weight of crisis. Together we will work toward getting you back on the path to hope, healing and finding your joy again.
