Getting to know Daniella Hansen

I'm Daniella, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Education in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University. I meet with women experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and women's issues. My clients want to change how they feel and how they react. They want their days and their relationships to look different. If you're looking to connect, to change your current approach, and experience growth in your daily life, I'm here to listen to what you're hoping to get out of therapy, explain what to expect from our time together, and answer any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe the strongest tool we have is our therapeutic relationship, characterized by trust, understanding and empathy. Our time together will be comfortable and conversational. I'll also guide you through tools and techniques that have been shown to effect change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and internal family systems (IFS) therapies with my clients. These approaches allow you to change unhelpful thoughts and reconcile important aspects of your personality. I am certified in EMDR, a powerful tool for processing unpleasant experiences and inciting growth. I'm also an approved Ketamine-Assisted Provider.
