Psychotherapist
CA
believe therapy is not about becoming someone new—it’s about reconnecting with who you already are beneath the experiences, expectations, and survival strategies that once protected you but may no longer serve you. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, attachment concerns, intimacy and sexuality, identity exploration, and life transitions. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and welcome clients from all backgrounds and relationship structures. My approach is relational, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I integrate Gestalt therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic approaches, psychodynamic therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful, lasting change. When working with couples, I also incorporate principles from the Gottman Method and Imago Relationship Therapy. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped your life, helping you cultivate greater self-understanding, deeper connection, and the freedom to live more authentically.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply sensing that something isn’t working anymore, we’ll begin wherever you are. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I don’t believe I am the expert on your life—instead, I see therapy as a partnership where we move at your pace and tailor the process to what feels most supportive for you. Together, we’ll work to better understand the patterns that have shaped your experiences, build on your strengths, and create lasting change that feels authentic and meaningful.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin by getting to know you—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but your story, relationships, strengths, and the goals that matter most to you. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and move at a pace that feels safe and supportive. As therapy progresses, we’ll explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be contributing to your current struggles while building practical tools to help you navigate life more effectively. Depending on your needs, I may integrate approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic techniques, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gestalt therapy, and psychodynamic interventions. My goal is to help you develop greater self-understanding, strengthen your relationships, and create lasting, meaningful change.
