Getting to know Danielle Beatt

My name is Danielle Bloch Beatt, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Sarasota, Florida. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Syracuse University. I am passionate about helping people navigate the emotional challenges in their lives in a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental way. As our lives have become increasingly complex, many of us experience anxiety, depression, loneliness, and confusion about how to navigate relationships. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and Solution Focused Therapy. I use an eclectic approach, meeting people where they are and providing support and feedback to encourage growth. I love working with young adults and people in transitional phases of life. Major life changes such as college graduation, starting a new job, having a baby, or moving to a new city can be especially stressful. These transitions often cause anxiety and depression, and together we will work through that stress to find balance and calm. As a telehealth provider, I believe it is important to build rapport in face-to-face sessions. Being a good listener is a key aspect of the therapeutic relationship, and I give my clients my full attention while asking thoughtful questions to build deeper understanding. We will develop a conversation as we build a trusting relationship. I believe that all people are doing the best they can each day and that good relationships are based on trust and mutual respect. Listening to people's life stories is my passion. I am open and kind while remaining objective and honest. In the world we live in, it is important for each of us to find someone with whom we can be vulnerable but not afraid.
