Getting to know Danielle Cesar

Hi there, I'm Danielle! Hello, my name is Danielle Cesar, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide. I use an empathetic and solution-based approach to therapy because I firmly believe that you are the expert on the challenges you face. My focus is to assist you in navigating those difficulties while providing you with tools to manage your mental health and life circumstances in a healthy manner. My approach I like to utilize a person-centered approach when working with individuals. I believe that people understand best what they are experiencing and can benefit from this approach in their healing journey. When faced with relationship challenges and difficulties related to depression and trauma, I focus on addressing the thought processes and actions that can be altered to bring about positive change. Working honestly yet purposefully through these trials can create the necessary transitions for healthy living. My focus I work with children, individuals, couples, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. I also support couples navigating challenges within their relationships. My communication style I strive to create an open, honest, and trusting environment when meeting with individuals. Coming to therapy, especially for the first time, can be intimidating. I aim to make you feel comfortable and free to talk during our sessions. My journey to therapy My desire to see individuals living a life of healing and wholeness is the driving force behind my work as a therapist. My goals for you In our sessions, we will set goals collaboratively. Together, we will formulate feasible goals that promote your overall well-being. My first session with you In our first session, expect an open conversation about what brought you to therapy and support as you begin your journey toward healing and wholeness.
