Psychotherapist

"Hello everyone! I'm Danielle, and I've been dedicated to healthcare since 1994. My journey began as a medical assistant in Maryland, and for the past 20 years, I've called Georgia home. Throughout my career, I've gained experience in various specialties, including adult, child, family, OB/GYN, neurology, urgent care, emergent care, dermatology, Med/Surgery, and mother and baby care. I've also had the privilege of teaching medical assisting and placing students in their externships. My work has taken me to esteemed institutions like Johns Hopkins University and DeKalb Medical Center, and I've taught in secondary education at career colleges and business schools. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Georgia State University (2010) and a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University (2013). As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, I've had the honor of working with veterans as a crisis counselor and starting my career with children and teens as a community counselor. My passion lies in helping individuals operate at their highest capacity to master the essential areas of life: work, family, social lives, and purpose. In my practice, I regularly use solution-focused therapy, which means I'm direct and to the point when it comes to identifying and working towards solving a situation. However, I'm flexible and will employ other modalities if the situation calls for it. I firmly believe that mental health is the cornerstone of overall well-being, and I strive to help my clients achieve a healthy mental state that positively impacts all areas of their lives.
