Hi there, I'm Danielle! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in California, Nevada, Texas, and Oregon. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles. I utilize a holistic approach to therapy that takes into account the entire person and their environment. My approach My most common theoretical approaches include strengths-based, solution-focused, cognitive therapy, Gestalt, Logotherapy, insight therapy, and mindfulness. My focus I usually work with adults of all ages. My recent experience has been with older adults, life changes and adjustments, addictions, medical conditions of all ages, and individuals providing caregiving to loved ones. My communication style I try to make our session space as comfortable as possible to create a positive, safe environment to open up in. My journey to mental healthcare My journey as a social worker started a few decades ago. I've worked for many county agencies, then moved to prison, then the medical field, and now I take all this experience and apply it to my therapeutic approach. I believe having worked with such a vast majority of individuals has given me a unique perspective on the human condition and has made me a better therapist. My goals for you I discuss the goals and what you would like to achieve in therapy in our first session. Goals are set through a conversation between therapist and client and reviewed often to ensure progress and/or changes that may need to occur.
