My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a social worker began with seven years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I worked as a cook. After my military service, I pursued my Associate’s degree in Human Services at Quincy College, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Curry College, and a Master of Social Work from Boston University.
