Getting to know Danielle Lucia

Hi there, I'm Danielle! Tired of talking about your problems? Feeling frustrated and stuck? I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. I believe our past experiences contribute to our present circumstances. I specialize in supporting women who struggle with anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, depression, PTSD, and patterns of unhealthy relationships. While it can be therapeutic to talk about our problems, I believe true healing comes from feeling our emotions. I use Brainspotting and other holistic modalities to help you heal emotional stress and trauma. My approach I approach therapy with an open mind and heart, providing a safe space where you can address your concerns without shame or judgment. I believe you are the expert on yourself, and my role is to support and guide you toward healing whatever is keeping you stuck. I come from an attachment-based perspective, recognizing that the emotional bonds we form—or don’t form—in childhood significantly impact our self-worth, ability to connect with others, engage in healthy relationships, and thrive. My approach is integrative and holistic, honoring the interconnected health of mind, body, and spirit. I use Brainspotting along with mindfulness and meditation to help you understand, process, and heal your past so you can move forward with greater balance and peace. Brainspotting identifies and heals stress and trauma stored in the subcortical brain—areas we can’t access through talking alone—leading to faster, deeper healing.
