What should a new client know about working with you?

As a therapist, I aim to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to explore your experiences and emotions. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered techniques. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also specialize in trauma-informed care, and I recognize the importance of building trust and safety in the healing process. Together, we’ll work at your pace to gently process difficult experiences, build resilience, and develop practical tools to support your growth. Therapy with me is a partnership. I’ll meet you where you are, validate your lived experience, and support you in creating meaningful change and connections.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you’d like to work toward. This is also a time for you to ask questions and share anything that feels important. I want you to feel comfortable and supported from the start. As we continue working together, sessions are shaped by your needs. A typical session might include processing current challenges, identifying patterns or triggers, and building coping strategies using tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices. I often check in about what’s working and what’s not. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your feedback is always welcome.
