I work with clients who feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they do not fully understand yet. I support teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, identity concerns, and emotional distress. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I help clients slow down, make sense of what they are feeling, understand the patterns shaping their relationships and choices, and build practical tools for coping, communication, emotional regulation, and change. What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to handling things on your own, minimizing your needs, or feeling unsure how to explain what you are going through. I try to create a space that feels supportive, honest, and collaborative. My approach is grounded in curiosity, warmth, and respect. I help clients explore the deeper patterns, emotions, beliefs, and experiences that may be contributing to current struggles while also building practical tools for coping, communication, self-understanding, and change. I earned my Master of Social Work from Boston University and integrate evidence-based, trauma-informed, and relational approaches into my work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions, I focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope will be different. Together, we will identify patterns, stressors, strengths, goals, and the kinds of support or skills that may be most helpful. I draw from ACT, DBT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, somatic practices, and behavioral interventions. In practice, this may include learning how to regulate emotions, manage anxiety, communicate more clearly, understand relationship patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, reconnect with your values, and develop healthier ways of coping. My goal is to help clients feel less alone, more connected to themselves, and more capable of navigating what they are carrying.
