Getting to know Danielle Pizzi

Hello, I’m Danielle and I’m excited to meet you! I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, East Bay, and have been honored to support elders, adults, youth, and families for over 15 years. I would love to talk to you and find out how we can work together to find your wisest path. I like to think of therapy as walking a forest path together, where we get to look at who’s on this journey with you, turn over and examine what’s under the boulders in your way, and give your deepest self some air and light. What should a new client know about working with you?

I am experienced and can support you in working through past trauma, working through depression and anxiety, supporting on your addiction recovery journey, and processing intimacy and relationship struggles. In our sessions I’ll provide a personalized mix of both behavioral support (helping you build healthier habits and patterns) as well as processing deeper thoughts and feelings (figuring out why you have those old patterns to begin with).

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
