“A little over a year ago, I was having so many life changing events and I was unable to control my emotions and had no one to express my feelings too. I had to keep everything together! Danielle and I clicked from our first meeting and she listened and helped me navigate my next steps in life. I am so grateful for her friendship and guidance.”

Getting to know Danielle Slade

Hi there, I'm Danielle! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Northern California, working with clients statewide via telehealth. I hold a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. I work with clients of all ages and specialize in anxiety, stress, and work burnout, using various therapeutic modalities to help clients make progress and start feeling better. My approach My therapy approach varies based on each clients needs. I most often use Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, as these support clients in sharing their stories. This helps us create a shared understanding of their reality to find solutions that help them seek their own version of contentment. My focus My treatment style works well with teens, young adults, and adults dealing with stress, anxiety, work burnout, and feeling overwhelmed. I help clients navigate these experiences and build skills to feel better, have a more positive outlook, and handle future stressors. My communication style My communication style is calm, personable, and relatable. I want clients to feel comfortable expressing themselves in any way they need to feel heard. I listen without judgment and always with the intention to understand. My journey to mental healthcare I chose to become a therapist for many reasons. I have always been drawn to helping people and am curious about how people relate to each other. I enjoy helping people discover they often hold the solutions to their problems within themselves and just need help finding them. I love seeing people release their burdens.

She reminds me of my favorite auntie. She's super understanding, playful, and compassionate. She's the best therapist I've had. (Of about maybe 5 others I've had in the past)
I feel like I hit the jackpot with Danielle. She is kind, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and the list goes on. She is an amazing human that has helped me and my family so much. I can't say enough good things about her!!
Danielle is a wonderful, caring, and relatable therapist. I have never felt more comfortable talking to a therapist, and she really helps to give you a positive outlook on life and really makes you feel like you're working together.
Danielle has been a great therapist for me. She listened to my problems and provided both feedback and actionable steps I can take to improve my situation. Her friendly nature helped put me at ease while I talk through some difficult moments. While I'm still working through my mental health issues, I have already seen an improvement.
