Getting to know Danielle Veader

Are you struggling to connect with others in your life or to find joy and purpose in your days? Do you feel lost when it comes to getting out of your head and taking action toward change? My name is Danielle, and I am an LCSW in the state of Georgia with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Georgia and over 20 years of experience working with individuals, teens, and families. I have worked with clients on a wide range of issues. I started my career working in child welfare, where I partnered with parents to help them become the best versions of themselves as individuals and as parents. I am experienced in working with parents and teens, helping each person improve those familial relationships. For over a decade, I had the honor of working in medical settings with individuals coping with and adjusting to a new chronic and/or terminal disease diagnosis, as well as with their families as they grapple with their new normal. I have facilitated grief support groups for those who have lost a loved one or experienced a different type of loss. Processing grief is very important and looks different for each individual. I enjoy partnering with clients in finding their way back to joy and purpose after a loss. Seeking therapy is a huge step. I look forward to meeting you and helping you become the healthiest version of yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to make you feel comfortable in every session. Vulnerability and connection can only occur when you feel safe. We will work together to examine the struggles you are facing and to come up with techniques that you can utilize to find true healing and change. I occasionally assign "homework" that serves the purpose of helping you identify areas of struggle and the opportunity to try new coping skills.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
