Danielle Woolstencroft, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and mother of three teenagers, passionate about fostering growth, balance, and connection. Outside of my work, I enjoy gardening, creating art, practicing mindfulness, and caring for a variety of pets, from cats and dogs to reptiles and fish. I value time with my kids and am always seeking new knowledge and experiences to inspire both my personal life and professional practice. My approach My approach to therapy is client-centered, grounded in the belief that each individual is the expert of their own experience. I integrate mindfulness practices to foster presence and self-awareness, while also utilizing practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients recognize and shift the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In addition, I draw from psychodynamic and narrative approaches, exploring how family of origin and life experiences shape identity and functioning, and supporting clients in reframing and rewriting their personal stories in ways that promote healing and growth. My focus I work with adults of all genders, including women, men, nonbinary, and LGBTQIA+ individuals, who are navigating life stressors, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, including bipolar disorder, within the scope of outpatient telehealth therapy. My focus is on supporting clients who are not in immediate crisis or requiring a higher level of care, but who are seeking tools to improve daily functioning and emotional well-being. Together, we can build skills for emotional regulation, stress tolerance, and healthy coping, while working toward creating a life that feels meaningful and worth living. My communication style My communication style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I listen with care and respect, honoring you as the expert of your own experience, while also offering practical tools and gentle guidance to help you move toward your goals.
