I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Caldwell University and a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University. I have experience in a partial care setting for individuals with persistent mental health and co-occurring disorders, running groups and meeting with clients. I’ve also worked in residential facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring disorders, collaborating with treatment teams to create and implement goals and plans.
As a licensed counselor, I maintain a nonjudgmental understanding of beliefs, values, thought processes, and experiences, making counseling a safe space. There is no one-size-fits-all approach; each session, modality, and technique is personalized. I use an integrative, person-centered approach tailored to your needs and best interest. Techniques include Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and more. I am a passionate advocate for clients, practicing collaboratively to encourage self-awareness, education, and understanding of diagnoses and mental health concerns. Having worked with diverse ages, cultures, and diagnoses in individual, group, and family settings, my goal is to work alongside you in a respectful therapeutic relationship toward your goals. My ultimate aim is not only to provide adequate services but also to equip you with tools to thrive afterward.
