Darlene Morris, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Darlene! I use a holistic, highly integrative approach to help overwhelmed individuals feel calmer, more stable, present, and content in daily life. My supportive approach blends evidence-based practices with subconscious and somatic tools, practical support, encouragement, and whole-person care to support lasting mental, physical, and emotional healing. My focus I work with adults, teens, and couples navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Maybe life looks fine on the outside while inside you feel heavy, tangled, exhausted, or on edge. Maybe past experiences still shape your sense of safety in relationships or a loss has left you in despair. I am here to help. My approach My approach goes beyond talk therapy by integrating mind, body, and spirit. Always trauma-informed and compassion-led, I blend evidence-based care with EMDR, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, somatic, subconscious, and energy-healing tools. We address root causes—not just symptoms—so you can experience lasting healing, transformation, and growth. My communication style My style is warm, grounded, and non-judgmental. I offer a place to feel heard and noticed, where you can be real without fear of criticism. We explore your feelings and thoughts, gain insight, and take action. I am realistic, yet positive and optimistic, and find the human spirit amazingly resilient when given empathy, support, and space to heal. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into therapy began in high school as a peer counselor. My interest in human resiliency grew into a passion for healing and supporting others. As a childhood trauma survivor and EMDR patient, I've experienced the power of therapy myself. Helping others find insight, healing, peace, and lasting change is deeply meaningful to me.
