I am a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience, holding a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University. I have worked with private practice clients, in-patient medical and psychiatric patients, and through Employee Assistance Counseling (EAP). My experience includes helping clients with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety-related issues, parenting problems, career challenges, adjustment to illness, and end-of-life issues. I have also supported many individuals who have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional trauma as adults or children.
My counseling style is relaxed, accepting, client-focused, and non-judgmental. I emphasize the client’s existing strengths and coping skills. My approach is eclectic, incorporating techniques such as visualization, hypnotherapy, cognitive-behavioral methods, psychodynamic, and humanistic interventions. My role is to assist you in reaching your desired goals, focusing therapy on the objectives you set for yourself.
