David Worden, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from California State University, San Francisco. I have had the privilege of serving a diverse clientele across multiple systems and settings in a therapeutic environment. What makes my approach unique as a therapist is my emphasis on intersectionality and treating the whole person to support healing and recovery. I assist my clients in validating, processing, and identifying how their identity and experiences shape their mental health journey. As a queer Latinx person, I have personal and unique connections to the field of mental health that keep me passionate and grounded when working alongside clients from marginalized groups. The therapeutic modalities I use most with clients include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I have expertise in working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment challenges, parenting and phase-of-life obstacles, and bereavement.
