I believe that we are all on our own life path. The path isn't always straightforward. Life doesn't always go according to plan; sometimes we need a little focus or footing. Life can be difficult to navigate, but together we will work to identify solutions to your detours, hurdles, and obstacles so you can regain your footing and get back on your life's path. I hold certifications in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ARC: A Framework for Treating Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents, and CCAPT (Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional). I am a military spouse with advanced education in veterans, military, and military families. I earned my MEd in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College and hold a bachelor's degree from Bay Path University. My clinical experience includes internships at River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. and Walden Behavioral Care. Take your first step toward healing today and schedule with me to discover more. I am currently accepting virtual clients aged 18 and older. Please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. I look forward to meeting you and assisting you on the life path you're meant to be on. I am currently accepting new clients.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I meet my clients where they are at. Together we will explore the past and current situations as well as learn the tiggers and coping skills. Session are collaborative. Attendance and communication are very important. A client must give 24 hours notice to clinician to cancel or reschedule a session to avoid cancellation fees. If a client is 15 minutes late or more it is to the discretion of the clinician if the session will occur. Client must be completely present for the session and prepared to work. A session will be discontinues if the client is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs of any kind. If subsequent issues occur the client may be discharged.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I request a free 15 minute consultation with clients to make sure that we will work well together. My client are asked to bring a notebook and writing utensil to each session to take notes. The note book is used for take notes or journaling between session, list or write about events or feelings that occurred in between sessions and to note homework assignments for clients to work on in between sessions. Healing occurs faster when a client works on things outside as well as inside sessions.
