Getting to know Dean Paquette

I feel my primary responsibility as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is to foster a calm, safe, and trusting environment with all clients through a warm and non-judgmental relationship. Therapy is a “we” program. My former career tracks in communication and education give me the ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds and cultures with empathy and support to help you meet your goals. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Palo Alto University, which has equipped me with the skills to provide effective, compassionate care. As a private practice and community mental health therapist, I have had the opportunity to work clinically with children, youth, adults, and couples. I use an individually tailored approach to therapy, matching the needs of each client in the present moment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients I work with often struggle with anxiety, general sadness, depression, life trauma, grief, substance use/recovery and couple’s relationship or communication issues. Working together we can achieve successful outcomes.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
