She is collaborative and non-judgmental, understanding that the decision to enter therapy can be difficult. Deb assists clients in assessing and developing strengths to empower positive and healthy decisions. Deb received both her Bachelor's and Master's in Education Counseling from Northern Illinois University. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse, psychiatric illness, developmental delays, and abuse/trauma experiences. Deb also has a passion for working with the LGBT community and is attuned to the obstacles individuals in this community may face. Deb believes individuals have a great capacity to achieve their maximum potential when provided with the right therapeutic environment, and she is committed to helping her clients reach their goals.
