What should a new client know about working with you?

My clinical approach is compassionate, relational, and integrative, blending evidence-based interventions with deep respect for clients' personal values, family systems, and faith when relevant. I emphasize emotional safety, self-awareness, and meaningful behavioral change through modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method, trauma-informed care, and grief work. My style is warm yet direct, helping clients process difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, establish healthy boundaries, and move toward lives that are aligned with their values, purpose, and authentic identity.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where your story matters. The initial session is designed to help me understand your concerns, goals, strengths, and the challenges that have brought you to counseling. Together, we will discuss your personal history, current stressors, relationships, emotional well-being, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. I take a collaborative approach, helping clients identify meaningful goals while creating a plan tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, you can expect to be met with compassion, respect, and practical guidance as you take the first steps toward healing and growth.
