What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is active, directive and honest. That means identifying and disrupting negative patterns in real time, helping couples and families notice in the moment what is happening, how they are disconnected, and then helping bring them together to see, hear, understand and give each other love and respect. I have no agenda to "save" the relationship, just as in individual therapy I have no agenda to tell you what to want, how to live your life. My only agenda is to help you uncover your own, identify the future you want and find strength to move toward that happiness, purpose & peace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Usually we meet in the office but I do see clients who are unable to come in via HIPAA-compliant telehealth, as well as offer "walk and talk" sessions for individuals who are interested after the initial in-office session. I also offer Achievement Coaching and Parent Coaching for individuals with targeted goals and needs. These sessions are often done outside the office at a place comfortable to the client and conducive to the work they want to do.
