Getting to know Deborah M. Nutt

Are you willing to take a step toward helping yourself and/or your loved ones? Do the challenges in your life feel overwhelming? I enjoy walking beside people during their journey to wholeness and healing. I believe we can all benefit from therapy at some point in our lives and need an established support system. Therapy is a ministry of presence; our work is collaborative. I am ready to start whenever you are! I am a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and 8 years of experience. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and customized to your needs. I utilize CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and play therapy techniques. My experience includes working with children from age 5 through adults. My desire is to provide high-quality treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families in an effort to help them achieve success in all areas of their lives. When you contact me, we will establish a plan to address your needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After the first session, together we will develop a treatment plan that includes measurable goals and objectives. We will review goals and objectives periodically to discuss progress and make updates as needed. We will explore what comes easy for you, and how to address what is the most challenging.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
