I am experienced in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, acute trauma, and children and teen mental health. I also work with individuals, couples, and families in difficult situations. I am here to be your biggest ally and challenge you to create a healthier, happier you! My approach I tailor therapy to my clients' specific needs. I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Compassion Focused, Culturally Sensitive Coaching, Eclectic Family Therapy, Gestalt, Humanistic, Interpersonal, Play Therapy, Strength-Based, Trauma Focused, and Solution Focused modalities. My focus I work with a wide range of clients and issues, including adolescents/teens, anxiety, behavioral issues, child abuse or neglect, ADHD, chronic impulsivity, coping skills, depression, domestic violence, emotional disturbances, family conflict, grief, job stress, life coaching, mood disorders, panic attacks, self-esteem, sexual abuse, stress, trauma and PTSD, women?s issues, and life transitions. My communication style I communicate directly, listen closely, and ask for clarification as needed. I respond to my clients? tone, verbiage, and demeanor, striving to meet them where they are. My journey to therapy I began my career as a counselor for abused men and women in domestic relationships, learning the importance of being a strong supporter and honest interpreter of clients' needs. I earned a bachelor?s degree in clinical psychology and a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University, enriching my understanding of human behavior in various settings.
