Dee has been a therapist for over 33 years. She brings her gentle, supportive, encouraging, and very effective modalities into play every session. She is accepting and skillful. Dee’s therapy has benefited those who struggle with addiction, dependence, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She received clinical training in Family and Marital Systems Therapy congruent with the theories of Menuchen as part of her training at Callowhill Family Therapy Center. Her clinical training included depth therapies to get to the heart of the matter. Many of her clients report feeling heard and understood in a deep and meaningful manner that improves their relationship with themselves, and so, their lives, also. She studied Plant Science/General Agriculture at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. She worked as a Wetland Scientist to fund her studies in Clinical Psychology at West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She has devoted her life to the study and practice of helping others.

My professional practice is centered around well-established and evidence-backed methods to achieve the highest quality clinical outcomes. Some of my main modalities focus on utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I hold a strong belief in the inherent strengths and resilience found within every individual, forming the core of my therapeutic approach. With a person-centered perspective, my goal is to cultivate a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. I tailor my interventions to suit the unique needs of each person, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment. I prioritize continuous learning, dedicating significant time to staying updated with the latest advancements in the behavioral health field. This commitment ensures my ability to consistently provide the highest quality and cutting-edge clinical treatments to those in my care.
