Hi! I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. I received my degree in 2000 and have been practicing for the past 24 years, with experience in substance abuse treatment for several years before that. My experience as a therapist includes using a variety of tools and interventions to help you reframe your experience and begin living your best imagined life. As a military veteran, my experience traveling and living in different countries around the world enables a broad spectrum of understanding for the broad spectrum of people I meet in therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After a first session you will have an idea of what your goals in therapy will be, what you are expected to do, and what to expect from your therapist. You will have a clear-cut idea of what to do to achieve this.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
