Delorth Stallworth, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master's degree in social work from Chicago State University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. With a focus on direct practice, Delorth has extensive experience working with children and families in various settings.
Delorth began her career supporting children and families within the foster care system. She then transitioned to working in a counseling center, specializing in evaluating and assessing risk factors. This work involved empowering individuals through personal growth and providing individual counseling. Delorth's expertise extends to areas such as stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, family and relationship issues, and personal growth. She takes pride in working with clients from all walks of life and believes that therapy is universal-everyone deserves the opportunity to seek help.
Utilizing an ecological approach to therapy, Delorth addresses clients' biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. She aims to support individuals in their journey of healing from trauma, building self-worth, improving communication within relationships, and achieving their goals. By offering compassionate guidance and utilizing strength-based techniques, Delorth strives to create a safe space for clients to navigate their challenges and find empowerment.

Overall was not happy with my visit. I was charged for an hour long visit. Delorth spent 30 minutes complaining about the notes a previous therapist put into my chart from a previous visit. The visit consisted of about 10 questions about my health and any pre existing conditions and then she ended the call with 30 minutes extra time. She did not ask any questions about why I was there or what I was looking for. No advice or homework for the next visit or any therapy was given at all. I understand it was the first call and it is used to get to know you but she did not get to know me at all besides previous health conditions. Just ended the call and said she would see me in 3 weeks.
