Getting to know Delverene Mills

Are you looking for a change and a way to erase the stigma within communities that seeking outside help is not what "we" do? I believe you are, as you took the first big step to do the research. I am proud of you! Therapy is a way for people from all walks of life to express themselves while learning effective therapeutic skills to assist with managing their everyday life through the various trials and tribulations they may face. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland and have 17 years of experience working with children, youth, adults, and families to combat the various struggles in their lives. My overall goal is to assist my clients in becoming the best version of themselves regardless of their past trauma and current state. If you are ready to take the next step in learning how to manage your anger, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, bipolar disorder, stress, and relationships, schedule an appointment with me. “As soon as healing takes place, go out and heal someone else.” ~ Maya Angelou

What should a new client know about working with you?

As my client, you will learn about yourself on a deeper level and be able to manage a little better each day. Towards the end of our sessions you will feel yourself becoming a better you as time progresses.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
