Hi there, I'm Denise! I’m a queer, ethically non-monogamous trauma therapist specializing in DID, complex trauma, somatic therapy, relationships, and psychedelic integration. I work with individuals and couples looking for therapy that makes room for all of who they are. Come open, leave free. My focus I work best with adults navigating complex trauma, DID/dissociation, relationship challenges, identity, and major life transitions. I especially welcome queer and ethically non-monogamous clients seeking a space where they don’t have to explain or minimize who they are to receive meaningful, affirming care. My approach My approach is trauma-informed, somatic, relational, and culturally responsive. I create a collaborative space where clients can safely explore patterns, reconnect with their bodies, and understand the roots of their experiences. I honor each person’s identity, autonomy, lived experience, and capacity for healing. My communication style My style is warm, direct, curious, and collaborative. I integrate somatic work and a decolonized approach that honors the body, culture, identity, and lived experience. I bring humor and humanity into the room while asking thoughtful questions, offering honest reflections, and actively engaging in your healing. My goals for you I don’t view healing as a linear, goal-oriented process. Rather than focusing solely on outcomes, we follow what emerges through the body, relationships, and lived experience. Together, we identify meaningful intentions while allowing space for curiosity, integration, and healing to unfold at its own pace. Our first session Our first session focuses on creating safety and establishing grounding. We’ll get to know what brings you to therapy while gently easing into somatic work through checking in with yourself, noticing your body, and building awareness. There’s no pressure to go deep, we begin where you are.
