In today's world, mental health support is needed more than ever. Mental health IS health. It's time to end the stigma and realize it's okay to not be okay. Finding a therapist can be a daunting process, but congratulations on taking the first step! As a therapist, I aim to foster an environment that is warm, collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts and earned my Master's in Social Work degree from Boston College. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in history. I view the counseling process as an alliance between client and therapist and consider clients the experts of their own lives. Within the structure of the therapeutic relationship, clients can access their inner strengths and promote change. I use a combination of modalities that include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My theoretical approach is based on the belief that clients are in charge of their counseling experience. They will learn the boundaries of aspects of their life they can control and those they cannot. Clients will understand that the therapeutic relationship is a partnership in which they are expected to put in effort through homework, be accountable, and remain present within the counseling alliance.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
