Dennis Kraemer, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Dennis! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. I have worked in various therapy settings with all ages, and currently, I work with adults and older adults via telehealth in California. Some of the issues I have specialty experience with include depression, grief and loss, stress, and life transitions. My approach Therapy is a very personal process. I consider myself Humanistic in my approach to counseling—personable, empathetic, and curious. I also utilize family systems theory, which involves exploring boundaries, expectations, and understanding relationships within a system. My focus I work with adults who are seeking a counselor to help them understand what may be happening in their lives or why they keep behaving the same way and feel stuck. This can cause clients to feel overwhelmed by a situation or their emotions. There may be loss, trauma, or life changes that need attention. My communication style I want to get to know and listen to clients with understanding by creating a space where they can share openly, feel respected, and have the possibility to change. Therapy can be difficult at times, and I am here to support them as best I can with my professional experience.
