I have served my clients in Fullerton for more than nine years. If you are looking for a sense of acceptance from the world and those around you, I invite you to contact me. We will start by setting realistic goals and create a plan to make those goals a reality.
A struggle I see often is clients not wanting to be a burden to those around them yet constantly being there for others, leaving them feeling empty and alone. I want you to feel important, loved, desired, understood, and that you matter just as much as you make others matter to you.
I've worked extensively with individuals from all walks of life, especially young children, adolescents, young adults, and college students. I specialize in attachment-the ability to help form healthy and secure relationships and communication.
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fullerton, which has equipped me with the skills to support you through your challenges.

I went ahead and booked with Dr. Williams because of his reviews, and I was not disappointed. I've been doing a few different consults lately, and I felt a strong connection with him almost instantly. He did a great job at making me feel comfortable. Therapy can be uncomfortable, and having a clinician who knows what they're doing makes it a better experience. I've had lots of doctors over the years, from psychiatrists to specialists who literally do not care about people and have gotten into this field for other reasons than wanting to help people. I've seen Denny about four times now, and holidays have been tough with the recent drift in my family. It was hard getting through Christmas, etc., and I was expressing how Easter is tough because I would spend it with my family, at church, and surrounded by people who I feel love me. I didn't have that this year, and Denny offered to see me on Easter, which was nice, but I felt bad about taking him away from his plans. THIS REVIEW IS FOR ANYONE CONFUSED ON WHERE TO BEGIN.
I never believed in therapy let a lone really new what it was. I grew up in a tough family with abuse, drug use and lots of other stuff. My family would laugh at the idea of therapy, medication, or mental health in general. I'm hear to tell you that it's the opposite of what everyone in your life is telling you.
Make the choice for yourself, make the choice for you to be happy, make the choice for you to have a future.
I picked a dude aka Denny because I felt more comfortable and while it took me sometime to talk about some stuff I never have, I now feel better about some of it and have talked to my wife about a few things.

Counseling is new to me, as I grew up in a family where we did not believe in therapy or mental health, and that added to my pain. I now know counseling is for different things, and I have gotten my brother and sister to also pursue therapy. if you have been told that it's not real or for the weak, those are all the people who do not work on themselves.

I came into therapy feeling overwhelmed by depression and honestly unsure if anything would really help. Working with my therapist completely changed that. From the beginning, they created a space where I felt heard, understood, and never judged. They helped me make sense of what I was feeling instead of just trying to push it away.
Over time, I started to understand my patterns, my triggers, and how my thoughts were affecting my mood. More importantly, I learned practical tools that I could actually use in my daily life to manage the heavy moments. Things that once felt impossible started to feel manageable.
What stood out most was how genuine and consistent they were. They didn’t just listen—they challenged me in the right ways and supported me through it. I’ve grown in ways I didn’t expect, and I feel more stable, confident, and hopeful than I have in a long time.

I came in to see Denny because I was struggling with anxiety in my relationships and had a hard time standing up for myself. I would overthink everything, fear upsetting people, and often ignore my own needs just to keep the peace. Early on, I learned that I struggle with anxiety, codependency, and anxious attachment. That awareness alone was powerful. Denny helped me understand where these patterns came from and how they were showing up in my daily life. He gave me practical tools to set boundaries, communicate clearly, and calm my anxious thoughts instead of letting them spiral.
Since starting therapy, things have changed in the best way. I feel more confident, more secure, and much more grounded. My relationships feel healthier and more balanced. I can speak up for myself without guilt and trust that I won’t lose people for having needs. I genuinely feel happier and more at peace, and I’m so grateful for the growth I’ve experienced.

This journey of secure attachment has not been easy, and I still vacillate between anxious/insecure and secure, but the reactions I'm having are a lot different from those I had a year ago. I've been dealing with anxious attachment and BPD for a long time and everyone wanted to focus on my anxiety as if there was something wrong with me. It's been different with Denny and I am seeing the evidence right before me.

Enjoying the sessions so far, and I like his relatability across different areas. For someone who appears young, he sure has experienced a lot in life and is open about stuff. I've had a few therapists over the years, and I've enjoyed some more than others. Denny has helped me begin to work through my deepest and darkest insecurities. I've opened up about things that I struggled to talk to others about, especially males. I learned later in life about BPD and anxious attachment, and I wanted to stop destroying every relationship I've ever had. I've said some horrible things to people, I've thrown people out of my life for the most minor things, because those deep wounds from my mother were never healed.
I went to therapy over and over again, and each time it was like a Band-Aid. One thing Denny said to me earlier was that short-term therapy may often be a band-aid if it only treats the current symptoms and not the root cause. Believe it or not, out of all the therapists I've had, none of them have ever said that, and it resonated with me.
I'm starting to like myself. I can't go as far as loving myself quite yet, but we're on the right path
