“As someone who also works in healthcare, I find clinicians with genuine bedside manner to be rare in our industry. Denny is a phenomenal listener, genuinely cares, holds space well, and it felt like a real connection. I can't express how crucial it is for our field to have more people who care about others, understand what real empathy is, and want to see the best for people. That was my experience with Denny, and I look forward to seeing where therapy goes from here.”

“I never believed in therapy or really bought into the whole mental health thing. I'm pretty old school, and for most of my life I thought you just handled your problems on your own. Working with Denny completely changed my perspective. From the very first session, he made the process feel comfortable instead of awkward or intimidating. I never felt judged or pressured, and he has a way of explaining things that actually makes sense. Over time, I've seen real changes in how I communicate, handle stress, and approach my relationships. Therapy has become one of the best investments I've made in myself, something I never thought I'd say. Because of my experience, I've recommended Denny to friends and family, which is something I never imagined I'd do. If you're skeptical about therapy or think it's not for you, I can honestly say I was in the same position. Denny has a way of making the process approachable, practical, and genuinely life-changing.”

Getting to know Dennis Williams

I have served my clients in Fullerton for more than nine years. If you are looking for a sense of acceptance from the world and those around you, I invite you to contact me. We will start by setting realistic goals and create a plan to make those goals a reality. A struggle I see often is clients not wanting to be a burden to those around them yet constantly being there for others, leaving them feeling empty and alone. I want you to feel important, loved, desired, understood, and that you matter just as much as you make others matter to you. I've worked extensively with individuals from all walks of life, especially young children, adolescents, young adults, and college students. I specialize in attachment-the ability to help form healthy and secure relationships and communication. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fullerton, which has equipped me with the skills to support you through your challenges. If you no longer want to walk alone, I invite you to reach out for a free fifteen-minute consultation. Whether you're struggling with emotions, relationships, or anything else bringing stress to your life, I can help.

Working with Denny has been one of the best investments I've made in myself. I originally came to therapy wanting to better understand why my relationships kept following the same painful patterns, and through our work on attachment styles, I've gained a level of self-awareness I never thought was possible. He has helped me recognize how my past experiences influence the way I connect with others, communicate, and respond to conflict. Rather than just talking about problems, he provides practical tools, thoughtful challenges, and a safe space to process difficult emotions without judgment. I've noticed real changes in how I approach my relationship, set healthier boundaries, and regulate my emotions. I feel more secure, more confident, and much more hopeful about my future. If you're struggling with attachment issues, relationship challenges, or simply want to understand yourself on a deeper level, I highly recommend working with Denny.

Took a break from therapy after doing well for a while. I've been seeing Denny for a while and I've learned a lot more about my deep triggers and insecurities through therapy with him. I am now back and look forward to what more I can learn.

I highly recommend this therapist. What I appreciate most is his holistic approach—he looks at the whole person rather than just focusing on symptoms. He's incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely listens without judgment. From the very first session, he made me feel comfortable and understood, and he's easy to talk to even about difficult topics. He asks thoughtful questions, offers practical insights, and creates a safe, supportive environment where I feel heard. I never feel rushed, and every session leaves me with a better understanding of myself and tools I can actually use. If you're looking for someone compassionate, knowledgeable, and invested in your overall well-being, he's an excellent choice.

Wonderful ADHD and relationship coaching experience! I know coaching is separate from therapy, but it has been incredibly helpful and has provided a different kind of support and guidance that has made a meaningful impact. The coaching process has helped me better understand myself, my ADHD, my patterns, and how these things affect my relationships and everyday life. I really appreciate the practical tools, insights, and strategies that have been provided. The approach is supportive, understanding, and focused on helping me create real change rather than just identifying problems. I have gained a better awareness of my strengths, challenges, communication style, and ways to improve my relationships and overall quality of life. The coaching has been encouraging, empowering, and has helped me feel more confident in navigating challenges. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for support with ADHD, relationships, personal growth, and developing healthier habits and patterns.

Thank you for helping with our marriage; it's a journey, and we are gaining the tools. I'm starting to feel seen by my husband.

My husband and I are liking the coaching thus far, it has a different element than therapy and feels more hands-on for what we are needing it for.

I've been seeing Denny now for a while and I've been able to work on a lot of my communication struggles and being less avoidant. It's still hard and there are triggers that make me want to run but learning to sit with that, knowing that I'll be okay and just like any prior time, I've always ended up being okay as long as I don't run from my problems.

I just had my first coaching appointment with Denny, and this might be a little different from what you're used to in therapy. We went over expectations, goals, what my partner and I are looking for, etc. It was a really nice first appointment, and I look forward to additional coaching sessions to help my partner and me find that connection again.

therapy is difficult, I did not know what I was expecting but things have been hard and I find myself going into topics and deeper family stuff I did not think I was going to and it's been a journey. I didn't think I'd want a male therapist for some of these things but it's been great so far.

Enjoying the sessions! It's nice that he offers both face sessions and Zoom, I like being able to meet face to face where other therapists are often offering only zoom.

I have been seeing a decrease in anxiety, which is what I wanted before I decided to take meds or not. My last therapist wanted me to take medication, which felt gross, and Denny said we can explore that down the road if needed, and there was no pressure.

I’ve had two sessions so far and it’s been a really positive experience. From the start, I felt comfortable and not judged, which made it a lot easier to open up. They ask thoughtful questions, really listen, and help me see things from perspectives I hadn’t considered before. Even in just a short time, I’ve already started to gain more awareness about my patterns and feel a bit more hopeful about making changes. I never feel rushed, and it feels like they genuinely care about helping me work through things at my own pace. So far, I’m really glad I started and I’m looking forward to continuing.

My fourth session with this provider, and it's going well. I will continue to post updates as time goes on because I have seen some therapists fall off, or it feels too much like a friendship! Therapy isn't for friends and if you're stuck with a therapist where it feels that way then you may want to consider another option.

Hello everyone, this is my first appointment with Dr. Denny Williams, and I have been attending therapy on and off for about 15 years, starting from when I was 9. I have a lot of trauma from my childhood and things that happened to my brothers and me. I have learned tools and how to cope in certain situations, but now I want to heal. I hope Dr. Denny Williams is the person who can help me heal.

I have been attending counseling for one month and I do like it. I typically don't leave many reviews, not good ones at least, but I like the way I've felt in a short period of time, and it's been different than other experiences in the medical field.

I went ahead and booked with Dr. Williams because of his reviews, and I was not disappointed. I've been doing a few different consults lately, and I felt a strong connection with him almost instantly. He did a great job at making me feel comfortable. Therapy can be uncomfortable, and having a clinician who knows what they're doing makes it a better experience. I've had lots of doctors over the years, from psychiatrists to specialists who literally do not care about people and have gotten into this field for other reasons than wanting to help people. Thank you, Doctor. -Alex B

I've seen Denny about four times now, and holidays have been tough with the recent drift in my family. It was hard getting through Christmas, etc., and I was expressing how Easter is tough because I would spend it with my family, at church, and surrounded by people who I feel love me. I didn't have that this year, and Denny offered to see me on Easter, which was nice, but I felt bad about taking him away from his plans. Thank you for the suggestion, and I hope your Easter went well, man!

New client here, first, I was in dire need to be seen as soon as possible, and I was able to send him an email, and he got me in on a Sunday and Easter Sunday of all days! I can't express how thankful I am, Mr. Williams. I am looking forward to our next session!!!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR ANYONE CONFUSED ON WHERE TO BEGIN. I never believed in therapy let a lone really new what it was. I grew up in a tough family with abuse, drug use and lots of other stuff. My family would laugh at the idea of therapy, medication, or mental health in general. I'm hear to tell you that it's the opposite of what everyone in your life is telling you. Make the choice for yourself, make the choice for you to be happy, make the choice for you to have a future. I picked a dude aka Denny because I felt more comfortable and while it took me sometime to talk about some stuff I never have, I now feel better about some of it and have talked to my wife about a few things. -Richard

i've felt listened to and heard in therapy. My last therapist would listen to me talk and not say much, and I thought that's what therapy was, and it felt like a waste of time, but I don't feel that way right now.

I've been trying out a few different therapists and after a few sessions I've decided on Mr. Williams. He is younger than my prior therapists but it's been a fresh and different perspective than some other ones.

Nice dude who I feel comfortable with sharing personal stuff with. I had a female therapist before but I sometimes felt judged because of what I would share. I'm not perfect but if I am being open you think someone would try to make you feel okay. I feel that way with Denny.
