My name is DeVante, and I'm an LCSW in private practice at Asé Therapy and Social Work Services. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, East Bay. I'm dedicated to helping facilitate the completion of your goals by using a holistic approach and identifying pieces of yourself that give you strength and hope. I support clients in developing tools to manage their emotions and cope during difficult times. I integrate talk therapy from a healing perspective, centered on helping folks release unresolved issues and fostering positive visualizations.
Asé Therapy and Social Work Services incorporates a social justice and disability justice framework while centering a non-judgmental and brave space. I'm happy to be part of your healing journey and look forward to working with you!
What should a new client know about working with you?
After the first session, clients can expect that they are not alone in their struggles. I see you, hear you and I will be with you on your journey. I will enable clients to move forward with reaching their goals at their own pace. While working together, we will frequently monitor mood, thought processes, symptoms of depression/anxiety periodically. In addition to reviewing the treatment goals & objectives.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
