I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Sexologist (ABS), and Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200), with nearly ten years of experience as a psychotherapist in private practice. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University and a PhD in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am the owner, CEO, and Clinical Director of my psychotherapy practice. My background includes extensive experience as a social worker on Chicago's north side, teaching graduate-level counseling courses at DePaul University, and over 15 years as a yoga instructor.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I favor an eclectic approach to therapy and draw from various theoretical orientations (including cognitive-behavioral, feminist, Adlerian, existential, and solution-focused therapy) to tailor sessions to the unique needs of each patient. I also incorporate mindfulness, breathing, and meditation into sessions when it is appropriate for dealing with stress, anxiety, and related issues. While I work with the full spectrum of patient concerns, I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, anxiety disorders, stress management, life change/adjustment issues, vocational concerns, and relationship issues. I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
