Getting to know Dezaree Finch

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling and a degree from UC Davis. I have worked in the mental health field since 2001, serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a variety of clinical settings, including residential treatment, substance use treatment, and domestic violence and sexual assault programs. I strive to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to help people better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, overcome challenges, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. I believe in treating the whole person and value an integrative approach that considers emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual well-being. I support evidence-based practices while recognizing that each client's journey is unique. My work is informed by ongoing professional education and a commitment to remaining current with research and best practices. My own life experiences, including overcoming significant adversity and serious health challenges, have deepened my empathy and reinforced my belief that healing and growth are possible. These experiences allow me to connect with clients with authenticity, hope, and understanding. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, homeschooling my two children, teaching, reading, camping, swimming, and serving as a leader with the Civil Air Patrol and Scouting America.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
