Diana Calvo, LPC

Psychotherapist
80 Garden Center, #58, Broomfield, CO
I work with adults (25 and older) who are struggling to find purpose, meaning, and fulfillment in everyday life. I see clients who often experience an unexplainable emptiness inside or wonder why it is difficult to feel a sense of connection to the people in their lives. Difficulty accessing joy, loneliness, moments of hopelessness, depression, anxiety, and trauma can be part of the story. Sometimes there is emotional pain associated with past and current relationships with family, and sometimes also with friends, colleagues, and romantic partners. My approach to therapy is gentle, supportive, and relational. I have experience working with family estrangement, complicated relationships between adults and their parents, and childhood trauma. I support adults to work through difficult life experiences, to live and relate to others more authentically, and to discover a greater sense of inner peace. Adulthood is a never-ending series of challenges. We have very little cultural guidance for navigating these challenges in ways that are both healthy and realistic. Together, we can explore the situations you are faced with and talk through options and possibilities. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University and a Bachelor's degree from Barnard College. Book with me now.
