Getting to know Diana Guzman

I believe every person deserves a space where they feel safe, understood, and valued. I’ve worked with families who have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, and my goal is always to support their emotional, social, and academic growth while helping them build confidence and resilience. As a bilingual Spanish-English speaker and first-generation Latina professional, I value building strong, culturally responsive relationships with my clients, and want every person to feel welcomed, respected, and truly seen.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My experience includes providing individual and group counseling in both school and clinical settings. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed practices, play therapy, and strengths-based interventions to meet each child where they are and guide their healing and growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you are ready to get started, schedule an initial assessment visit (intake) through Zocdoc. After you book an appointment, a care coordinator will reach out to review your method of payment and/or insurance number and answer any initial questions you may have before our first visit.
